Local revitalization efforts across the country
As Japan's population is aging and declining at an accelerating rate, it is important not only for the regions but also for Japan as a whole to revitalize them and attract people to them.
Rural Japan faces challenges related to its residents' living environment, such as reduced access to health care, inconvenient public transportation, and a sense of loneliness among residents, as well as community and community challenges, such as the decline of the local economy, lack of human resources for resource management, and a decline in community vitality.
Therefore, a transition of society to a new phase is required.
Here are some of the various activities that are being undertaken across the country to create sustainable towns.

The city and the Tourism and Product Association will play a central role in attracting travel through promotional activities to travel agencies and improving the environment for acceptance. The island's resources are used to set up a tourist information center and provide sightseeing boats, diving and netting services to improve the convenience and satisfaction of tourists. Led by the younger generation, including local revitalization cooperatives, they dug up local resources, developed products, and disseminated information. By doing so, the information spread to the tourists and the recognition of Jeungdo improved. In addition, the government has also been focusing on promotional activities and increased opportunities for media exposure.

In Ureshino City, by promoting barrier-free hot springs both in terms of hardware and software, it has become possible to accept the elderly and disabled people who had given up on hot springs trips until now.
The Saga Ureshino Barrier-Free Center provides a variety of services by improving the barrier-free accommodation facilities and hot spring areas. By providing a human assistance service that specializes in "hot spring bathing," which requires the most care, we were able to set the cost of the trip lower than a care trip accompanied by a helper.
In addition, new markets have emerged, such as filial family trips and refreshment trips for elderly couples.
